Volunteer Includes IndyHumane in Her Estate Plan

"My late husband Steve and I did not have children, so we always planned on leaving our estate to animal rescue - in particular spay/neuter and other medical needs for shelter animals. After he passed away, I moved from Pennsylvania to Indianapolis and shortly thereafter started volunteering at IndyHumane. I was immediately impressed by the care given to the animals as well as the comradery of the staff and volunteers. Rather than leaving our estate to national animal rescues, I revised my will to target IndyHumane. Volunteering each week allows me to see the continual work being done there, which gives me the confidence my funds will be well used."
